Describing the appearance of a person. Talking about a person's character. Politely express assumptions, wishes and a request. Make a suggestion. To give advice. // Suggest something. Agree or disagree with a suggestion and give reasons. Make a counter-proposal. Making an appointment. To reserve a theatre ticket by telephone. // Make a request. Showing willingness to listen to someone. Expressing surprise and regret. To enquire about something. Asking how long something will take.

Grammar:

Né ....né. The comparative. The passato prossimo of verbs with a double auxiliary verb. Forms and use of the conditional. The indefiniti: qualcuno and nessuno. // Stare+ gerund. Passato prossimo and imperfetto of the verbs sapere and conoscere. // The use of passato prossimo and imperfetto (II). The verb volerci.

Course content and learning objectives for all levels

The learning objectives and grammar content listed are for guidance only. They represent an average programme that can be handled within a course of 20 units of 45 minutes each. The lecturer will decide how far the programme can be extended or deepened based on the level and other characteristics of their class and their personal teaching style.
