Is it easy to learn Italian? A frequently asked question for which there is no simple answer. We are convinced that the key lies in the motivation of the students and this in turn depends on the teachers.
The teachers at our Italian courses know how you help you succeed in learning and using the language. Using a well thought-out, didactic method, they accompany you step by step through the learning process: they explain structures and meanings, select effective exercises for you, give tips on learning vocabulary, support and encourage you.

The four competences - to learn Italian easily
The teachers at the Italian workshop not only emphasise the systematic and analytical teaching of grammatical structures and vocabulary. At all language levels, they work intensively on the four basic skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing, best expressed in the following questions:
- How easy is it for you speak? Can you express yourself articulately at your level? Can other people understand your pronunciation?
- Are you good at understanding what you hear or read in Italian?
- Can you express yourself in writing and use the necessary syntactic structures?
We are constantly trying to optimise the learning process so that you can learn Italian easily and quickly communicate successfully!
Writing and speaking are no longer a challenge
Role plays and conversation exercises help to activate comprehension and speaking skills from the very first lessons. From intermediate level onwards, students are encouraged to discuss topics by watching short videos. The regular writing of short texts and dialogues on topics already covered in the course helps beginners in the use of grammatical structures and expressions they have learned and to practise looking up and choosing vocabulary.
The best courses: class-orientated and structured!
The following applies to every course instructor and every level: The design of the lessons takes into account the personality of the students as well as their personal learning goals and priorities. For "long-lasting" groups, the programme is tailored more intensively to the requirements of the participants. For example, more emphasis is placed on communication or grammar or on specific content, depending on the students' wishes.
Our instructors know how to take all needs into account without losing sight of the learning objectives defined in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (GER).
If you would like to learn in an even more focussed way, we also offer you the opportunity to plan private Italian lessons with us.
