Holidays and travel. A brief introduction to Italy. Describing their own favourite type of holiday. Talking about the daily routine on holiday. At the tourist information centre: find out about a destination, an event or a place of interest. Understand an advertisement, talk about holiday flats, discuss everything with the landlord by e-mail. Talk about the weather.
Grammar:
The demonstrative pronouns questo and quello. The colour adjectives. Prepositions in the description of clothing: di, a, da with "compound" nouns. The direct object pronouns lo, la, li, le. Locations with da+article and in. Quantities with di and the division article. Further location information with in, a and su. The reflexive verbs in the present tense, the double negation. The indirect object pronouns (I). Certain quantities (with di) and express indeterminate quantities with the partitive article.
Course content and learning objectives for all levels
The learning objectives and grammar content listed are for guidance only. They represent an average programme that can be handled within a course of 20 units of 45 minutes each. The lecturer will decide how far the programme can be extended or deepened based on the level and other characteristics of their class and their personal teaching style.
