Stereotipi italiani: Vero o falso? …e perché?
Conversation and Grammar Course A2–B1
Did you know that not all Italians eat pasta every day and that the USA played a decisive role in the spread of pasta in Italy? Did you know that fashion is far from being equally important to everyone in Italy?
Surprised? That’s exactly what this course is about.
This conversation course aims to debunk and deconstruct some of the most well-known Italian stereotypes. Inspired, among other things, by Alberto Grandi’s work DOI, we will embark on an exciting journey full of surprises—especially in the realm of cuisine, but also in fashion and other aspects of Italian culture.
The course combines lively discussions with a targeted review of key grammar topics at A2 and B1 level, offering an ideal opportunity to consolidate and deepen your language skills.
Grammar focus: Imperfetto vs. Passato Prossimo, Congiuntivo, pronominal verbs, Condizionale (present and past), etc.
Topics: Italian cuisine and the origins of typical dishes, fashion, and other cultural aspects of Italy.
We look forward to seeing you—right on time at the start of class! (No, it’s not true that Italians are always late … only sometimes)
